What we’re learning

Math

Eureka Math Squared · Module 2 · Lessons 1–3

We’re multiplying multiples of 10 by one-digit numbers, dividing two- and three-digit multiples of 10, and exploring the area of rectangles using length × width. We’ll use models and place value to explain our thinking.

Reading

Unit 2 · Week 1: Myths

We’re exploring myths and their imaginative characters and events. Students will discuss characters’ actions and motivations, retell key events, and use text evidence to explain the lessons or messages in these traditional stories.

Writing

Being a Writer · Unit 2 · Week 2

We’re using partner feedback to revise, correcting run-on sentences, and proofreading spelling, capitals, and complete sentences. We’ll publish our pieces and share from the Author’s Chair!

Thank you, families!

Thank you for arriving on time for conferences! It was wonderful to meet with you and talk about your child’s growth.

Pictures are posted weekly—please keep checking our class album!
